Once there was a little boy and David was his name.                        
He watched his neighbors eating supper, ev'ry night the same.
They thought his manners awful and they wished he'd go away.
He thought them kind of selfish, him so hungry ev'ry day.

To David William Abedyne." "What's that?!" replied the dame.
"I never heard of such a name, it's way too big for you.
